Life after Kony : The story of thousands of victims that lost lives, dignity and hope in Northern Uganda due the endless war - 1987 | 2006 - between the LRA, the Lord’s Resistance Army of Joseph Kony and the official UPDF troops.…no real justice, recognition, acceptance, help and compensation seem to be in view. Life after Kony		 Life after Kony : Sunday | 20 | single ...has never been married. Lost both parents not war related. She never went to school.In 2004 got shoot by UPDF during crossfires. An uncle assisted her and paid for all medical bills. No help and compensation received. As a "born again" she has forgiven. Actually she is struggling to survive with the sale of charcoal.
Life after Kony		 Life after Kony : Nekolina | 61 | widow. On 24.8.2003 during an ambush operation at her homestead, her husband and the only 3 sons got butchered to death. Then she was mutilated and speared by a bayonet.

Life after Kony : Consi | 45 | married ...with 7 children he lost most of his relatives during war. Right hand cut off as a way of disciplinary action by rebels in 1991 together with 2 village mates, claiming that village members had bows and supposedly planning to attack them.

Life after Kony		 Life after Kony : Gunshots in all parts; they survived a massive massacre while LRA raided her village and entered in cross firing with UPDF (Uganda People´s Defense Forces).

Life after Kony		 Life after Kony : Denis | 22 | single | orphan. Incident happened approx. 20 years ago. Family members told him the story. Father abducted to the bush. Since today no proof of life, presumed dead. During a rebel attack on his home village all huts were torched. All neighbors included his mother got killed while running away.
Life after Kony		 Life after Kony : Alensio | 38 | ...separated and staying with his 2 kids. While digging in his compound next to his hut a grenade blasted hand, face and abdomen. LRA rebels and UPDF, fighting for positions, surrounded his home. As most of all victims, he filled up in 2010 the Government Form with image. No reply up to now and no hope for compensation and help.

Life after Kony : Margret | 38 | widow ...with only one remaining child she is one of a massive massacres survivors. Suffering many bullet injuries she matched to survive. She lost her husband and 2 kids. Many relatives has been also abducted. Her generous heart and her forgiveness led her to care and pay school education for the son of the "LRA rebel Vincent Otti", 2. commander in charge of the attack.
